Shanghai, September 22, 2026 — The “智付未来 (Intelligent Payment Future): Web3+AI-Driven New Commercial Payment Infrastructure” event was held in Shanghai. Dr. Xian Wu (Alan Wu), Co-founder of A&V Incubator and President & Chairman of KOT LLC, joined the roundtable “AI Agent and Web3 Integration: Future Financial Infrastructure, Autonomous Execution and Ecological Evolution,” sharing the stage with JimLai (Dr. Lai Jun, Founder of iCloser), Zhang Feng (Partner at Vantone Tianqin Law Firm), and Jay Zhou (Founder of 3Dianqu Blockchain).

In his remarks, Dr. Wu argued that the real bottleneck for AI agents at scale is not the model — it is settlement: “Agents need high-frequency, micropayment, cross-domain execution. Most rails are still built for a human clicking Confirm.”

He added that the next 12–24 months will not be won by chat wrappers, but by infrastructure that lets software pay software — with identity, spend limits, and a bill that reconciles: “People set the policy. Machines pay. The chain holds the permissions and the ledger.”

The event was co-hosted by CFB and iCloser, with POSX as title sponsor and Uweb (University of Web3), VeeChain, RWA.LTD, and Taiwei DAO as sponsors. Held during the 2026 Shanghai International Blockchain Week, the event coincided with the 12th Global Blockchain Summit (“智链共生 / Blockchain-AI Synergy”) on September 23 at the Hyatt on the Bund, where Dr. Wu was also an invited speaker.

A&V 孵化器官网正式上线，打造 Web3×AI 全球创新门户

Boston, October 2, 2026 — A&V Incubator today announced the official launch of its website, www.avincubator.com. The bilingual (Chinese/English) site showcases the incubator's positioning, incubation services, ecosystem network, and portfolio projects, serving as a key gateway connecting Web3 and AI builders worldwide.

Co-founded in Boston in August 2024 by Dr. Xian Wu (Alan Wu) and Vencen, A&V Incubator is dedicated to empowering and advancing the Web3+AI industry. The incubator has built an ecosystem partner network spanning Silicon Valley, New York, Austin, Hong Kong, Singapore, Ho Chi Minh City, and Bangkok.

The website features sections including About, Incubation Services, Portfolio, and a News channel. The News channel will carry ongoing Web3 and AI industry briefings, and the site offers a downloadable version of the incubator's official presentation deck for partners and media.

A&V Incubator noted that the website launch marks an important step in building its brand. Going forward, the incubator will continue to focus on the Web3×AI sector, accompanying more early-stage projects from zero to one.

Dr. Alan Wu is a prominent Chinese internet expert; a Special Research Fellow at Harvard University's Fairbank Center for Chinese Studies; an expert adviser to the China Electronic Commerce Association; a specially appointed entrepreneurship mentor for an incubator at the MIT Sloan School of Management; a member of the Fifth Committee of the Chongqing Municipal Committee of the China National Democratic Construction Association; one of the Fourth “Top Ten Emerging Chongqing Entrepreneurs”; and Executive President of the U.S.–China Economic and Cultural Development Foundation.

Dr. Wu holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA/PhD) from the College of Business at the University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Applications from Chengdu University of Technology. A leading Chinese analyst of the IT and internet industries and a specialist in planning “Blockchain+” initiatives, he has been described by the media as the “Godfather of E-commerce in Western China.” He has long studied the development of the U.S. and Chinese IT industries and brings deep insight into the evolution of the internet, big data, blockchain, and their commercial applications. With 25 years of experience in China's IT and internet sectors, he combines extensive industry knowledge with hands-on management expertise. He has also served as a guest professor at institutions including MIT Sloan, the University of Science and Technology Beijing, Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, and Yunnan University of Finance and Economics, as well as an academic leader in big data and blockchain applications.

In 2018, Dr. Wu was named to Fast Company's list of “100 Emerging Global Digital Economy Thought Leaders.” A member of China's first generation of internet users, he previously worked as a network engineer at Yahoo China, General Manager of the Southwest Branch of China Computerworld Media Group, Chief Analyst at the Internet Lab, and a consultant with Burson-Marsteller in the United States. His international work has taken him to the United States, Canada, Japan, France, Italy, and South Korea. He has published more than two million Chinese characters of in-depth commentary on the internet, e-commerce, and blockchain industries. Dr. Wu has also supported successful e-commerce and blockchain case studies for Fortune Global 500 companies including Intel, Microsoft, Oracle, Dell, Qualcomm, BP, and HP.
